NFTY-SAR Hatikvah Kallah

NFTY is the safe, home-away-from-home that inspires Reform Jewish teens to become their best selves and empowers them to change the world.

And Hatikvah Kallah is YOUR chance as a 6th-8th grader to experience it!

February 8-10, 2019 at Camp Thunderbird, Wylie, SC

What can you expect?

  • Friday night: Meet new friends and celebrate Shabbat led by our high school students.
  • Saturday: Build community and get inspired through creative T’filah, interesting programs, fun electives, and finish the day with a fun social activity.
  • Sunday morning: We will wrap up our weekend with a friendship circle and say goodbye to your new best friends!

Where do we sleep?

Hatikvah Kallah 2019 is taking place at Camp Thunderbird. Participants will sleep in cabins with an adult chaperone. When you register, you'll be able to request 1-3 other people to stay with. If you don't know anyone, you'll be with other kids in the same grade as you.

How do we get there?

NFTY-SAR organizes group buses from Atlanta (and we pick up Greenville kids along our route). Most other cities in the region also arrange a bus, van, or carpool. Please reach out to your youth director, rabbi, or educator for more details about planned transportation from your area.
