So much happening in NFTY-SAR this Fall!


We’re excited to share so many things that are happening this fall in NFTY-SAR. There are too many to fit in just one social media post or email, so we hope you’ll read this post carefully!

Lock-in in Jacksonville!

  • Did you miss seeing your friends from FL and SC at Fall Kallah? Can’t wait until January to see them at Winter? Then go to the JAFTY Social Action Banquet and Lock-in on December 2-3 in Jacksonville!! More details coming soon!

Running for Board & Town Hall

  • Interested in running for Regional Board for 2018-2019? There is an informational webinar on Sunday, October 29 at 8pm. To join the call, go to
  • Want to discuss important issues facing our region, including the way we allocate votes and the big/little program? Join our NFTY-SAR Town Hall forum on Sunday, November 19 at 7:30pm. To join the call, go to

Israel Engagement

  • SAR is running a year-long program for teens who want to go a bit deeper in learning about Israel. Teens who participate will meet in person at each of our regional events for an Israel program or lunch-n-learn, and will also attend monthly webinars. The webinars are also open to anyone who is interested. To join the year-long group, please email the NFTY-SAR shlicha, Lotem Eilon.
  • The first Israel webinar is on Wednesday, November 8 at 7:30pm. The topic is “Israel’s History through Changing Borders.” To get the call-in info, please email the NFTY-SAR shlicha, Lotem Eilon.

Social Action

  • Tutoring at FL Stanton Elementary (our Camp Jenny partner school) on Saturday mornings will be relaunching in November. Atlanta teens, stay tuned for more details!
  • Save the Date: December 22 we’re planning a social action day at FL Stanton and the Atlanta Community Food bank.
  • Camp Jenny applications are coming out very soon! Mark your calendars for Sunday, November 12 at 7:30pm for an application info webinar.
  • Social Action webinars – save the dates – November 15 and December 13 at 7:30pm – discuss important issues happening in our world, and ways we can create change in our community.
